I'm Giving Up on Gristmill

As some of you know, I’m very interested in environmental issues, so it’s no surprise that I read Gristmill. But you know, I think I’ve had my fill.

U.S. right-wingers like to use Sarkozy as a rhetorical bludgeon, showing that Europe is moving toward the U.S. rather than vice versa. I wonder if this will cause any of their little pea brains to short-circuit.

As it turns out, Climate Progress, from the liberal Center for American Progress, is quite a bit better on average. Joseph Romm isn’t perfect, but he’s exceptionally smart and thorough. And though I disagree with him often, he’s never juvenile. (Which, I should add, is more than I can say for myself at my worst.) Same goes for Andrew Revkin’s Dot Earth, which looks like it will be essential reading.
