Haven’t been able to shake the feeling that Yglesias is missing something in that post…. But I can’t really figure out what is bothering me. (Perhaps he’s making the mistake of thinking that a uniformly distributed average of something is functionally identical to the actual organic distribution, peaks and valleys and all?)
