Three of my oldest and closest friends — two guys and a girl — were unexpected triplets. Their parents wound up with their second, third, and fourth kid when they hadn’t even been trying for a second. I think they had a hell of a time bringing them up, but their kids turned out to be some of the best people I’ve ever known.
It’s funny, how unexpected chance can make every day of the rest of your life different than you had ever imagined. Congratulations. That’s an incredible thing.

My wife and I definitely want a third (I don’t know about a fourth and fifth, however!). I currently don’t have anything coherent to say on the subject either, but that’s unsurprising, insofar as I have nothing coherent to say about anything…
