Alarming Japanese Cinema
There’s a meme going around about favorite Japanese films. Tyler Cowen has one of my favorites, which, alas, I have only seen as a bootleg: Battle Royale.
One of my most unfavorite films, by contrast (thus making it a favorite of sorts), is a little nightmare called Tetsuo: The Iron Man, which you should absolutely not confuse in your Netflix queue of the future with Iron Man.
