Chuck Norris's Black Belt Patriotism
This is the American book Americans have been waiting for. I’m hoping that Norris will ready the market for my next book, Brown Belt Patriotism: Much Like Black Belt Patriotism, But Browner.

Reihan…..I wish you address Brook’s comment that the republicans are intellectually unfit.
Surely Norris’ book is a data point.
As I see it, a lot of the mess we are in is a direct result of GW’s intellectual inflexibilty and limitations.
The Grand Misadaventure of the Manifest Destiny of Judeoxian Democracy that has been his exclusive focus for the last seven years is an example.
Petraeus and Kilcullen are l33ts. The intellectual strategy is the strategy that worked.
Bush’s disdain for intellect has also led to the profoundly moronic No Child Left Behind Act, which essentially mandates the impossible—that every child should be above average.
The “go shoppin” and artificially depressed interest rates recovery plan for the aftermath of 9/11 which essentially led to Americans using their homes as ATMs and goin on a binge spend like drunken sailors.
The ability to believe in Creationism shared by Palin and Bush points to a profound lack of intellectual capacity. I dont believe McCain has any belief system except in his own manifest destiny to be President, and he is willin to say anything, do anything to achieve that.

witness his reversal on stem cell research, “agents of intolerance”, etc.
McCain has no convictions except that he should be President.
That was Bill Clinton.
A bottomless pit of self interest and ambition.

And consider this Reihan…..what was the Founders greatest fear, the thing the electoral college was designed to prevent?
Demagoguery.
The election of an unqualified leader through personal popularity.
