Jim, I’ve been knee-deep in Habermas*** this past week (revisiting his earlier stuff). I was wondering if your thoughts on our current predicament would change after taking into account Habermas’s thesis of “legitimation crisis.” If you haven’t read it, and can’t get it, I can send you an abridged version.
