Ezra Klein Makes Policy Fun
And now he’s doing it at The Washington Post! On more policy issues than not, Ezra and I disagree, but I’ve read him nearly every day for the past several years because he not only cares about policy, he cares about making it accessible without dumbing it down. There are not many people about whom this is true, and that’s while I’ll continue to read — and argue and disagree with — him at his new home. So congratulations to Ezra and his much-deserved new gig at the Post.
so now do you call him “big media ezra” and “king of all journolism”?
i think aesthetically i was totally unsurprised with the look of the headshot. much more “very serious person” :-)

I’ve never been that impressed with Klein; in the few times I’ve come across him, he seemed to be yet another blogger whose volubility exceeds his accuracy. Plus, the fact that he finds it boring and difficult to read books is a bit alarming.

This is one of those posts that screams out “we’re all friends here!”
The young leftish DC-living guy behind JournoList moves up to the 2nd most important paper in the word, right after his young conservative DC-living friend/ally Ross moves up, in an even-bigger way, to the most important paper in the world. How tiny are the DC media’s networks, and how much of DC media is about networking?
And will Klein tell us when he’s using his Post perch to advance discussions that are also going on in JournoList, maybe even with Post and NYT reporters and oped writers? Isn’t that a little bit strange?
