Blockbusters We'll Never See
AICN and Julian Sanchez point us to a pair of delightful fan-made trailers for blockbusters that, unfortunately, we’ll never actually get to see:
First up, the Terminator movie I wish I’d seen:
Next, a Green Lantern movie that, sadly, looks far better than most of the superhero movies that get actually get made:
I’m generally not much of a populist, but sometimes I think movies would be far better off if we just turned them over to the fans.
Lisa Schmeiser has a pretty good take on that Green Lantern fan trailer over at The Incomparable:

The bottom line: “Comic movies as origin stories are played out and boring, and I really think any Green Lantern movie should take a cue from J.J. Abrams’ rebooting of the ‘Star Trek’ franchise, toss all eleventy-billion decades of backstory out the window… and make a straight-up action flick.” Tough to disagree.
