The Sex Vote: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut
Back around Valentine’s Day this year, apropos of the dread liberaltarianism, I posted a few remarks on something called the Sex Vote. That cheap tryst has now been sublimated into a nice long (not too long) summer fling of a piece, up at Doublethink and free as love to all.
I never got why the utopia of Brave New World was supposed to be negative; the only critique I could even identify as such was when the Savage went to a movie (okay, a feelie) and it wasn’t Othello. And that’s not just some prime high-modernist Kennedy Center bullshit, it’s some damn middlebrow high-modernist Kennedy Center bullshit at that.
