How France Must Save Itself And Thereby Save The World
At Business Insider, I put forward a plan for France to reform its economy, and thereby lead the Eurozone out of the doldrums and to the sunlit uplands of prosperity.
I encourage you to read it and share it.
Shorter PEG: France must become America, which has such a wonderful economy right now.

Incidentally, this is the fundamental dynamic in political punditry right now. In an age when the quality of life for workers has been assaulted for 30 years, political pundits like PEG advocate that things get even worse. They do this because, of course, things won’t get worse for them.

I just read it again. PEG: this is literal fascism you’re advocating.

I don’t know how anyone can take anything you say seriously. So I guess your solution is what, to double down on France’s direction? Germany? Great Britain? Greece?
Pick a better country.
Literal fascism? Freddie, you are the writing embodiment of the liberal fascist.

I think you need a vacation. Give unlimited deregulatory authority to a group of smart people, by extra-constitutional means, and they will do what everyone knows should be done? Even if this constituted a real prescription, it displays a singular lack of imagination for potential negative consequences, a child like faith in experts, and an inexplicable belief that there is a consensus that all reasonable minds share. The mind boggles. This gives some extra perspective to your Ron Paul complaint (which does not accept comments; Dr. Paul is the only individual I would consider voting for at this point, and your objections don’t do much for me. Regarding Afghanistan, if you think the US military should stay till the end of the world, say so, and don’t give me any of this “prematurely” crap). You should look up what Albert Jay Nock wrote about labels, specifically that of radical (http://www.lewrockwell.com/nock/nock7.html). I agree that radical action is necessary, but putting a bunch of experts (WTF does hand picked mean here?) in charge ain’t gonna be that. A constitution that those who disagree with you (or that you rule) must obey but which you are free to ignore is a lie. You either change it or you don’t.
Also, I think you’ve displayed a sufficient degree of intellectual immaturity that you should tread more carefully with regard to theology, that is, if your intention is to educate or convert anyone. There are plenty of people smarter than you that can handle the task, and they are less likely to be misunderstood. Apologetics are the duty of every Christian if pressed, but you should be a little more humble and leave the heavy stuff to others.
Freddie, I don’t think that word means what you think it means.
