Food Negation Theory
I’m trying to organize my thoughts on The Wire for an essay, which really means that I’m browsing blogs and finding things like Food Negation Theory, which, like Ezra, I totally believe in. Example: Wendy’s for dinner tonight, followed by a big cup of steamed vegetables. Food negated!
That makes some sense if the vegs replace junk food you otherwise would have eaten. If you otherwise would have eaten nothing, you get more calories but you also get antioxidants (?) and whatnot so maybe they’re a net plus.
