Premise 1: A high percentage of Americans are religious.
Premise 2: A high percentage of Americans cannot use apostrophes correctly.
Conclusion: Religion is the enemy of proper punctuation.

You’re syllogism has problems. Its invalid because it’s premises don’t necessarily lead to it’s conclusion.

I’m sure you know this, but this isn’t actually a syllogism; in a syllogism, the first clause is particular and the second clause is general, here both clauses are sorta-inbetween.
