I’m not smart enough to understand these. Are they some kind of subtle art or are they exactly what they appear?
Is the secret in the names – if I knew who the addressees were, would it become clear why these are blog posts on an ongoing blog of politics and culture?
Or is it more basic – are the names required as part of some kind of cryptic puzzle? If I decoded the puzzle, would I find out where Thomas Jefferson hid his gold?
Is the warcraft spam an intentional part of the the work or unintendend?
Seriously, I apologize for being dense, but if anyone gets these and can give me a clue, I would appreciate it.

I’m with you in being lost. I think Conor’s gone insane while doing his Atlantic Ideas thing. Air’s too thin at Aspen.

yeah unless there’s a big payoff at the end, they’re just annoying.

Conor, why are you posting old e-mails?
— Joseph FM · Jul 2, 05:10 PM · #
My goodness — this may well be a failed experiment, but it isn’t yet! Indulge me with a bit more rope, please.

Conor you have to understand, we have the collective attention span of a six-year-old here in the blogosphere. But now that you’ve addressed our concerns, I’ll continue paying attention for another week or so, provided I can manage that.

PC,
I don’t need a week — give me three more posts. Though I may conclude at that point that this is a bad idea! Do weigh in again.

Do whatever you feel like, Conor. It’s the only way all this business has any value or use.
