Once a Geek, Always a Geek
I’m slightly ashamed to admit how giddy this makes me, but only slightly. I’ve been wishing for a Tron sequel since I was about four years old, and eagerly following rumors of its development since college. And now that it’s actually happening? And it may or may not be about Flynn going rogue inside the mainframe, and becoming a Col. Kurtz-like god-figure? Well, go have a look. If that doesn’t make your inner geek, squeal with glee — or at least get some serious nostalgia juices flowing — then you are hopelessly, irrevocably normal, and while I’m very sorry, I’m afraid there’s nothing to be done.
YES!!! I join you in unadulterated giddiness! I too have been waiting since I used to stand in line at the local pizza parlor and play the stand-up arcade game of TRON. This was the first place I’ve seen this trailer. Thanks for posting this.

Well, we normal people don’t have much problem getting and staying employed, so perhaps there’s something to be said for it.

“Did we make it”
“We made it.”
“Hooray for our side.”
If Bruce Boxleitner is not in the new one, I will be IMMENSELY disappointed.

Tim of Angle:
“Well, we normal people don’t have much problem getting and staying employed, so perhaps there’s something to be said for it.”
Do nerdy people who are really into computers have trouble getting employed? Perhaps you’ve heard of Microsoft, Apple or Silicon Valley?
I second the Boxleitner hope as well.

Another classic case of wishful thinking by the casting department. “If we slap glasses on Lacy Underall, she’ll look just like a computer scientist, and no one will notice the difference.”

Where can I get a job cutting and pasting blog comments as a corporate whore? And does it pay better than my current gig?
