PEG Leads, the Washington Post Editorial Page Follows
After The Economist on retirement, again, the mainstream media takes its clues from one oddball Frenchman. Now a WaPo opinion writer agrees with me on giving kids the vote.
Clearly, my Secret World Domination Plan marches on — slowly, but surely.
Hat tip to Peter.
If we decide to abolish the system of government schools, then I could go along with your plan for world domination. Otherwise all you would be doing is giving the government more power to oppress the people.

Reading the kids should vote argument for the, what?, fifth time now, I think I finally get it, in a Stockholm syndrome kind of way. For some reason, in trying to put my journey into words I thought of this:
“So I had a wife, beautiful, like you, who tells me I worry too much. Who tells me I ought to smile more. Who gambles and gets in deep with the sharks… Look at me! One day, they carve her face. And we have no money for surgeries. She can’t take it. I just want to see her smile again, hm? I just want her to know that I don’t care about the scars. So… I stick a razor in my mouth and do this…to myself. And you know what? She can’t stand the sight of me! She leaves. Now I see the funny side.”
