Towelhead

I see a lot of bad movies — at best, maybe half of the movies I see are worth recommending — but I only get genuinely outraged by a movie maybe two or three times a year. Watching Alan Ball’s Towelhead, a repulsive attempt at suburban satire which seems designed to confirm the worst stereotypes about liberal Hollywood, was one of those times. If culture-war instigation is what you’re looking for at the multiplex (and it certainly seems to be all the rage on the internet these days), look no further.
